But that`s normal, it`s always been that way for 10 years: you plow all winter, and then you get behind the wheel - and the first few days are always hard.


I am tall and have long arms. I don`t have the best physique for a racer. [In spring] my muscles hurt for a few more days. But now there are three months ahead to get into shape. Everything will be fine.


I feel cramped in the cockpit. But Aston Martin also had a cramped car for me - all the teams are trying to reduce the free space because of the rules. After 2019, I needed a break from racing. And then covid came. Nothing much happened, but shortly after the start of the season I replaced Checo Perez at Silverstone.
