Mick Schumacher is close to losing his Haas seat to Nico Hulkenberg, claims It. motorsport.
Schumacher`s contract with the American team expires at the end of the 2022 season. The Italian publication believes that Niko has become a clear favorite, and sees the following development of events: Aston Martin reservist will replace Mick in Haas in 2023, another contender Antonio Giovinazzi will drive for Ferrari in the WEC, and Schumacher himself will take a break.
Hulkenberg reportedly began contacting Haas after the Dutch Grand Prix and talks have intensified since then.
