The Canadian has benefited from injury problems in the defense of the Bavarians and, despite playing atypical position, is amazing.

Last week, he recorded his second assist of the season after making an incisive slalom in Freiburg on the left flank and finding Lewandowski. THE BIG SURPRISE: BORUSIA (MYONKHENGLADBAH)
Although he lost his key offensive weapon Thorgan Hazard to Borussia Dortmund in the summer, Borussia Monchengladbach has not dropped his guard in the fight to win his first Bundesliga title since 1977.
Senior coach Marco Rose has excelled following his summer appointment after six years at the Salzburg RB and his tactical skills have raised the team`s level of performance. Marcus Thuram and Rami Bensebaini have proven to be strong replacements, and Alasan Plea and Dennis Zacharya don`t stop growing. This is further proof that even when a club is forced to sell its best footballer, the apocalypse is not imminent.

THE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT: BAYERN (MUNICH)
